I’m excited to kick off this blog and share my experiences testing and reviewing products for fishing, outdoor adventures, and life with dogs. As a veterinarian who has lived in the DMV for the past seven years, I spend much of my free time outdoors—whether I’m fishing, running with my dogs, or camping.
Fishing has been a passion of mine since childhood, and over the years, I’ve used just about every technique out there—fly fishing, casting, spin fishing, bait fishing, and ultralight. In the DMV, I typically target catfish, trout, shad, largemouth bass, snakehead, and panfish. When I’m not on the water, I’m out on the trails with my three dogs, testing gear that keeps us active and comfortable in all conditions.
I’ve tried and tested a wide variety of products while pursuing these hobbies, and this blog is where I’ll be sharing honest reviews to help others find the best gear for their own adventures. Whether it’s fishing equipment, camping essentials, pet products, or fitness gear, I’ll break down what works, what doesn’t, and why.
